Sewing busserull in Duluth, Minnesota
When I was growing up, I went to a Norwegian language camp called Skogfjorden. Skogfjorden is one of my favorite places in the world, but one of the reasons that it has always been so special to me is because of the people I have met there. In middle school, I met some of my absolute favorite people, including Leif. Leif is tall, blonde haired, blue eyed, speaks Norwegian and plays bass and fiddle. What more could a girl ask for???
Well, through meeting Leif, I also met is wonderful family, including Carol Colburn. Recently I found out that Carol is teaching busserull sewing classes in Duluth! She is also writing articles about busserull history and construction, and considering she is an expert in textile history, her articles are definitely worth reading. If you are interested in learning more about Carol, her classes, and busserull in general, you can follow the links below.
