Top 3 Travel Apps for Norway

This summer my kids and I embarked on a Norwegian adventure.  We flew from Minneapolis to Oslo, stopping over in Amsterdam.  We then spent about a week in Oslo, several days in the Lillehammer area, and then several days in Trondheim.  One thing I learned is that everything is done by App these days.  So, here are my top travel apps to have on your phone when in Norway.

1. The city public transportation app

Spending time in Oslo means using the Ruter app a lot!  There are two Ruter apps, actually, one is called Ruter and will help you navigate all around town.  The other is called RuterBillett, and will allow you to buy tickets.

When in Trondheim, I used the AtB app.  This app allows you to buy tickets and navigate around Trondheim in one place. Knowing when the bus is coming, which tram to take to your desired location, where the connection points are, etc. is super helpful!

2. The Yr weather app

The Yr app lets you check the weather wherever you are in Norway. It is very accurate (as much as weather predictors can be) and gives you current weather as well as predictions for the near future. Weather in Norway can vary, and it is important to know how to dress and how to be prepared for the day ahead.

3. Train / Flight apps

The kids and I took a train from Oslo to Trondheim, and then flew back on Norwegian air.  If you plan on traveling by train (which I highly recommend), then the Vy app is helpful. The Vy app will let you plan your trip and buy tickets.  If flying around Norway, Norwegian Air is great. The prices are low and the flights are usually on time and as comfortable as any other airline.

 Extra: Payment apps

Many Norwegian stores and citizens use Vipps to pay / accept payment.  If you come from a banking system that uses Vipps, then this can be helpful.  I don´t have it, so I used credit cards.

  • I RECEIVED MY LOAN IN 2 DAYS

I am a business owner, and after my husband’s death, I applied for loans from numerous banks to rebuild my business, but they all rejected me. I decided to find a private lender who could grant me the loan. Unfortunately, during my search, I encountered scammers posing as lenders who promised to transfer the amount I wanted to borrow (€20,000) and ended up stealing everything I had. I was on the verge of suicide when I saw our wedding witness, to whom I had confided my situation. He recommended a private lender who was able to grant me the loan and pull me out of the financial deadlock I was in. I couldn’t believe it because I had been looking for this loan for over two years, and in just two days, I was able to obtain it from Ms. Renata Ranfl. She grants loans in all areas. I suggest you contact her. She’s the one who saved me. Here’s her email address: renata.ranf@gmail.com

  • Be careful when looking for peer-to-peer loans. I visited many peer-to-peer lending websites and came across a wonderful lender named Maryse Biernaux, a Belgian national who helps people by granting loans. I received a loan of €7,000 from her, which I have to repay over two years. My loan application was processed smoothly, and I recommend contacting her. You will be satisfied, so don’t hesitate to submit your loan applications. Here is her email address: d.marysebiernaux@gmail.com

  • If I found my way back, it’s thanks to a man named Henry Vandenschrick. I had been looking for a loan to finance my projects for several months already. Today, I am here to testify to the miracle God performed for me through this gentleman who, without any difficulty, granted me a loan of €40,000 with an annual interest rate of 2%.

To be honest, I was wary at first; I had been scammed twice, so I had to remain vigilant. But after receiving the money after a 72-hour meeting with Mr. Henry Vandenschrick,

I advise you not to make the mistake of contacting the wrong person if you truly want to apply for a loan. Here is his email address:
