Påskekrim!  What is it?  and why is it connected to Easter?

Påskekrim refers to reading crime/ mystery novels at Easter time.  It is believed to have started in 1923 when the publisher, Gyldendal, ran an ad saying: the train to Bergen was plundered last night.  They were referencing a new book by Nordahl Grieg and Nils Lie, and when the book ended up selling really well, the tradition stuck.  Now there are book sales, TV shows, and mysteries for kids online. It has truly become a Norwegian tradition.
